...in a few words, here's my pictures collection history. It all started with a little pocket camera.

I was born 4/6/71 in Vevey, Switzerland. I began photography at the age of 15.

- 1987 : trip to Canada. First wildlife slides with a new reflex Mamya on a canoe trip in Algonquin National Park, Ontario.

- 1988: Interrail trip from Switzerland to Scandinavia, and down south to Spain and Morocco. Slides on Natural Parks in Lappland (Abisko, Lofoten)

- 1989 : first trip to Asia : Thailand, Malaysia, Singapour, Maldives Sri Lanka during civil "war" experiencing hard situations. Hundreds of slides covering different subjects as people, architecture, wildelife and natural sceneries.

- 1990 : Private pilot licence (PPL), flying on a Robin 400. Still flying today and started aerial pictures over Swiss Alps

- 1992 : A year backpacking around South America. 6000 slides about volcanoes, glaciers, wildlife.

- 1993 - 1998: Bsc. in Geography at Lausanne University, Switzerland. First public slide show about South America experience

- 1994: 4 months India: Rahjastan, Gujarat, Lahul-Zanskar-Laddak 21 days trekking, Kashmir, Sikkim. 1000 slides covering himalayas, people, wildlife and all other beauties of India

- 1995: Indonesia, for volcano climbing. Bali - Flores - Sumbawa - Komodo. Sunrise from the top of Rinjiani volcano in Lombok as a highlight! Extensive collection of volcano slides.

- 1997: Iceland for university study tour. Lots of volcanoes pictures

- 1998: Central America : Freelance in Panama Marine Natural Parks. Diving certification in Utila, Honduras.

- 1999 : First Underwater Pictures in Red Sea on the Gazhala I, liveaboard dive cruise with www.sinaidivers.com

- 2000: Thailand - Martinique holidays: more underwater pictures.

- 2001 : CERG 2001 : Postgrade course in Costa Rica about management of natural disasters. Extensive collection of volcano slides.

- 2002 : Launch of Geovision website!

- 2002 : Thailand holidays: Liveaboard in the Similians Islands

- 2002 : Maledives holidays: Diving in Velingandu with Ocean Pro Dive Team. See the diving gallery.

- 2002 : Mexico - Belize - Guatemala holidays: Other extensive slides collection of Maya world (Tikal, Palenque, Chichen Itza) and lots of diving including Cozumel and Belize Cayes.

- 2003 : Kenya : First approach to Africa wildlife. Masai Mara safari and underwater pictures of Wasini archipelago in South Kenya

- 2003 : European cities slide-show: Lisbon, London, Paris, Barcelona, Helsinki, Tallinn, Brussels. Soon on-line!

- 2003 : PADI Divemaster course in Palau and PADI Instructor certification in November 2003, Thailand will now bring new highlights in the diving and marine galleries.

- 2003/2004: West Pacific and South-East Asia Tour. Diving galleries now digital: Dive Palau, Yap (Micronesia), Sipadan & Mabul (Malaysia/Borneo), Thailand, Nah Trang (Vietnam). More galleries from Borneo/Sabah's wildelife to 4071m of Mt Kinabalu and Thailand's party Islands to Cambodia's architectural wonder of Angkor Vat.

- 2004: Cayman Islands. What was supposed to be a new diving gallery from a trial week on the Cayman Aggressor IV has turned into a natural disaster experience: see database gallery and live report from devastating hurricane Ivan that hit Grand Cayman on September 12 2004.

- 2004/05: Caribean experience goes on: Based in St-Maarten for winter 04/05 more diving pictures with the shark dives as a highlight, full St-Maarten beaches pictures and Mega Yacht Harbour. Around, the wild Saba with Rainforest on top of the volcano and suberb diving. St-Barths, the exclusive french island, a giant garden, pristine waters.

- April 2005: Transat! Atlantic crossing on the sailing yacht "Fidelitas". 3 new galleries on the way back: the Azores, Gibraltar and Mallorca.

- June 2005: Long Island New York. Natural sceneries on this wild coast. Birds and beaches.

- Summer 2005: I've now opened some new picture galleries focus on the Swiss Mountain Hikes. Great sceneries but also full of macro shots of alpine plants and insects. Also includes maps and texts about the hikes

- September 2005: Tanzania. Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar diving and hanging around Stone Town narrow streets, Oldoynio Lengai volcano climb, Lake Natron flocks of flamingoes, Ngorongoro and Manyara Lake safaris. Another huge collection of natural pictures

- October 2005: Prague, Tcheq Rep. An interesting gallery of old architecture and buildings.

I'm currently in Switzerland
