The short answer is YES—but there are 5 strict rules you need to know.
The Basics. Foreigners (non-residents) can purchase one holiday home in authorized regions. Limits: Max 200m² living space on a 1,000m² plot (exceptions possible up to 250m²/1,500m²).
1️⃣ Use it: Must be used as a holiday home at least once a year.
2️⃣ Ask first: Any enlargement/renovation requires government approval.
3️⃣ Selling early: Approval needed if selling within 5 years.
4️⃣ Resale timer: Must resell within 2 years if no longer used as a holiday home.
5️⃣ No year-round rentals: Strictly forbidden.
